Treasury Certificates

Treasury Savings Certificates (CTPV) are public debt instruments intended for household savings, with a guaranteed fixed rate. Subscriptions began on 13 September 2021.

Subscriptions for Treasury Savings Certificates can be made directly at the branches of the entities contracted for this purpose by the IGCP:

• CTT - Correios de Portugal (check the stores here CTT);

• Espaços Cidadão (check here Espaços Cidadão); 

• Global Investment Bank Digital Channels (website or app); 

• AforroNet (for subscribers of this service provided by IGCP - see Instrução IGCP n.º 1/2023 and Instrução IGCP n.º 4/2024).

Heirship Qualifications

CTPC Subscription: suspended since September 10, 2021, under the terms of Resolução do  Conselho de Ministros n.º 131-B/2021 (DR 177/2021, 3º Suplemento, Série I de 2021-09-10).
 

Redemption: can be made directly at the counters of the entities contracted for this purpose by IGCP:

• CTT - Correios de Portugal (see CTT stores here);

• Espaços Cidadão (see Espaços Cidadão); 

• Digital channels of Banco de Investimento Global (website or app); 

• AforroNet (for subscribers to this service provided by IGCP - see Instrução IGCP n.º 1/2023 and Instrução IGCP n.º 4/2024).
